We recently moved to Germany, since the birth of our son.

And apparently… we moved right next to the town where the brothers Grimm grew up.

For real.

Why, drive up to said town’s castle, of course. In style.

It’s pretty common in Europe to have castle dining halls open for rent for events.

I’ve even found Airbnb’s in castles here in Germany (definitely on my list to visit, so stay tuned!)

But ever fancied having a castle as your home address?

Yep. This castle has apartments for rent. Thus the playground in the back, and cars parked within the compound. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO LIVE HERE.
